Ken has been providing accounting, tax, outsourced controller and management consulting services to businesses and individuals in Central California for over 25 years. Ken formed Weir & Associates nearly twenty years ago and has been working with many small and medium sized businesses helping them grow their businesses, minimize their tax obligations, and retain the fruits of their hard work. In addition to providing the regular public accounting services, Ken's specialties are management consulting, and financial management for the construction industry.

In the management consulting arena, Ken has been providing business development, organizational development, executive coaching and succession planning services to corporations and small business clients throughout Central California.

For construction based companies, Ken has developed a customized set of services to provide the expertise that construction based companies need. This segment of our practice has enabled us to meet the needs of small contractors in various trades as well as multi-million dollar contractors. Our construction clients operate in the residential, commercial, industrial and governmental construction sectors.

Over the past twenty five years, Ken has emerged as a prominent and well-respected CPA in Kern County. In addition to assisting his clients, Ken has held various Board level positions with the Bakersfield School District, Kern County School Boards Association, Girl Scouts, St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, and has chaired and participated on various Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce committees. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants and has been an accounting and computer science instructor at Bakersfield College.
